Another way is to mix water and alcohol – yes, alcohol like in vodka! Don’t use things like red wine or such thing alike because it won’t work. You need old alcohol for this trick. Buy a high-strength and cheap vodka and mix it up with water with 3:1 (vodka 3, water 1) and put it in a spray bottle. Then spray your clothes to remove the smell. Once it dries, it won’t leave any smell – not even the alcohol! And it’s also good to kill the existing bacteria too.

What about baking soda? The easiest way is to put the clothes into a plastic bag, pour in some baking soda, and then give it a good shake. After you are sure that the clothes have been covered completely with the baking soda, just leave it be – still within the plastic bag. Then, after 10 minutes, take it out and brush the clothes off to remove the baking soda. Your clothes should smell better by then.
